Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I am the youngest of ten children in a large, close-knit family. My fondest memories revolve around the holidays, spent in the lively company of my siblings. Though I cherished my time in Chicago, change came early in life when my mother moved us to Alabama during my high school years. It was here that my journey into the military began, just after graduation, when I joined the US Army Reserve.

After completing basic training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), I was assigned to the 75th Combat Support Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, serving as a 91C/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). My military service transformed me, instilling a deep sense of courage and self-confidence, and sparking a lifelong passion for helping others. Following my military training, I pursued higher education, balancing my role as a part-time Army Reservist with full-time studies. I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Military Science.

In 2004, life brought me to Fountain, Colorado, where I fell in love with the beautiful surroundings. My husband, stationed at Fort Carson, was nearing retirement from the Army, and together we embarked on a new chapter. To support his venture into real estate investment, I earned my real estate broker’s license in 2008 and soon after we relocated to Colorado Springs, CO. Since then, I’ve channeled my passion for helping others into guiding active-duty soldiers, veterans, government employees, and anyone who wants to be treated like family through the home buying or selling process.

In 2013, I took a leap of faith and founded Equity Edge Realty, where I serve as the Broker/Owner. Equity Edge Realty is not just a business; it’s an extension of my values and beliefs. As a born-again Christian, my faith is the cornerstone of my company’s operations. Equity Edge Realty is a Christian-based, women- owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned business.
